"Thanks!" to many of you, including Jordyn, Marietta, & Irina, as well as GigiOfCa & Christy (in this post), who let us know that J.Crew had an update to its website today (click here to view online).There are some new arrivals for men (click here) & women (click here). {wahoo!} Of course, Crewcuts got updated too (click here). Even the J.Crew Collection (click here) displays new arrivals for Fall.
J.Crew has also provided the latest catalog online (click here to view). The catalog is another destination one. The images of Lake Powell in Arizona are beautiful! There is also a new stand alone catalog for Men & Crewcuts. As for the new arrivals...Liking! The Bettina Cami (Item 28505; $79.50) looks super cute! It's the cousin of the Victoria Cami with lace! Also, the Glimmer Cardigan (Item 28147; $178.00) looks stunning. I know its a bit over the top with the shimmering paillettes, but that is what makes it so special.
Messy! I am sure some of you will love the Dolmina Shirt-Jacket (Item 28735; $138.00), but I do not. It just seems like a lot it would take a lot of effort to make it work. Where do I begin with the Taffeta Seine Vest (Item 29082; $650.00)? It looks like it belongs on a villain from either the Wizard of Oz or Flash Gordon. In either case, not good. Not good at all.How much!?! Did you see the Burnout Baseball Tee (Item 29452; $59.50)? It's a cute tee, but not for almost $60. I don't understand what's so special to make it cost that much.
Incidentally, you know its time for Fall at J.Crew not just by their clothes but by how they lay out their clothes. They split up Jackets & Outerwear into two separate clothing categories again. (Which is what they do for the colder weather months. During the warmer weather months, they merge the two.)
